David Dingwall’s second attempt to become president of Cape Breton University has been successful.

This week, the Robert Sampson-led board of governors at the Sydney university tapped Dingwall to head the school.

Of course, political conspiracy enthusiasts are keen to note lawyer Sampson was a key clog in the political life of David Dingwall.
