Irving Shipyard has been given notice today by Ottawa that it has won the right to repair and overhaul four Canadian Navy Frigates. The Trudeau government made this announcement earlier today.

Davie Shipyard in Quebec has been awarded three frigate repairs, and Seaspan, in B.C. will repair five frigates.

The frigates were built 30-40-years ago.
