Transportation Minister Lloyd Hines collected bids Tuesday on the largest ever tender issued in Nova Scotia government history.

The tender is to qualify road builders for a $300 million twinning of 40 kilometres of Hwy. 104 between New Glasgow and Antigonish. The government’s goal is to work towards a negotiated contract in January, and possible completion
