The Time Ron Russell Put Road Safety Ahead Of Politics

Back in 1999, then John Hamm Transportation minister Ron Russell championed the Blue Route alignment for the 16-kilometre Antigonish 104 Bypass.

Russell died Thursday at age 92 – he won eight elections to the House of Assembly since his first win in 1978, representing Hants county.
