It has been a while since we offered A Notebook Soundtrack, and I stumbled across a Scottish folk band from the Hebrides.
Founded in 1999, as I surfed YouTube music, I came across the band Skipinnish, named for a locale on the many islands dotting Scotland’s Western Shore.
I liked them so much, I have ordered their CDs. They also have many songs on YouTube.
One song from this band that is a great beach song — and summers in Nova Scotia are made for beach outings — is called Walking On Waves. The music video for this song is of the Hebrides and beach scenes.
