Attention Advertisers: An Affordable The Macdonald Notebook Ad Campaign Will Reach A Strong Readership Of All Age Groups!
The Macdonald Notebook will enter its sixth year of robust independent publishing, thanks to the patronage of readers like you.
If you like to read news scoops and other exclusive news reports on the business and political life of Halifax and Nova Scotia, we have you covered.
With journalists in Halifax, as well as on Nova Scotia’s South Shore, and Antigonish/Cape Breton, my writing team offers old-fashioned reporting.
We do not report on press releases, but rely on a robust database of well-placed sources across the region—so we get the story first, stories not seen in other media outlets!
Check out the reader endorsements later in this article.
If you are an advertiser, note that we have a well-heeled audience reaching all age groups in society, with movers and shakers from business and political worlds tuning into our news scoops.
Advertisers in The Notebook reach a cross-section of age categories in The Macdonald Notebook.
Who reads us?
Using my readership measurement of Google Analytics, I am able to detail the age category of my total 1,500-plus readers per week.
I can ascertain the largest readership age category is from 45 to 55, and it might come as a big surprise to you, Dear Reader, my second largest readership age category is from ages 25 to 35!
Who says millennials, or 20-something, 30-something folk don’t read or pay for news!
I am not surprised that Google Analytics tells me I have a robust audience of 20- and 30-somethings. But our reach includes robust support from all age groups in our society.
The Macdonald Notebook publishes on Saturdays and Sundays.
Each weekend, we generate over 1,500-plus visits to our popular journalism website that looks at Inside Politics, Business, and Cultural Affairs.
