Speaking with prominent Halifax-South Shore realtor Rick Foster, now of Engel & Volkers NS, he tells The Notebook he collected multiple offers on a mansion listing in the historic and tiny fishing village of Terence Bay.

Republican Fox TV’s Tucker Carlson Once Owned a Chester Island – But He Mispronounced Ottawa – He Should Know Better

Right-wing TV pundit, Tucker Carlson the other day botched up the pronunciation of Canada’s capital city, Ottawa.

As the CBC was quick to report he stressed “the second syllable of the city’s name instead of the first — essentially pronouncing it “aw-TUH-wah” instead of “AW-tuh wah”, the public broadcaster reported.

His mispronunciation was a right-winger’s slight of Democrat nominee Joe Bidden’s VP running mate.

The QE II Home Lottery will see a lucky winner picked on Oct. 15th on CTV Atlantic at 5 p.m. – The fall lottery has sold out.

“Patients who arrive at the QEII for care – everything from routine testing to surgery to emergency medicine and more – benefit greatly from funds raised by the QEII Home Lottery. Funds have supported emergency equipment needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, comfort and care items, new treatment spaces, innovative technology like surgical robotics, and research grants”, says the QE II Health Sciences Foundation.

While the mansion is the top prize, for the last five years or so, the real deal prize if you ask me is a year-round ‘cottage’ at Chester’s Skipper Hill.
